Plantlifedk began in 2019 as a simple Instagram blog — a way for me to track the growth and development of my own plants.
What started as a personal plant journal soon evolved into a deep passion for rare plants and a growing connection with a vibrant online plant community. Over time, I found myself helping others identify pests and diseases, sharing plant care tips, and exchanging cuttings with fellow collectors.
Based in Esbjerg, Denmark, I now run Plantlifedk as a small one-person project rooted in honesty, quality and care. Though it began as a hobby, my vision is to grow it into a dedicated plant brand that offers something truly personal and special.
What makes Plantlifedk different?
Unlike many plant shops, I don’t buy large batches of plants from suppliers to resell. Instead, I handpick a few special mother plants and grow every cutting, seedling, and offspring myself. Every plant comes from a small and carefully curated collection, raised with patience and purpose. This means fewer plants, but more intention — and often more uniqueness and higher quality.
While my selection includes healthy, home-ready plants for all kinds of interiors and indoor climates, my main focus is on fellow plant collectors who are looking for something rare, beautiful and worth the wait.
Rooted in honesty and care
After being scammed by an admin in a plant group on Facebook, I started my own group — focused on honesty, transparency, and community. Those values still guide everything I do with Plantlifedk: to create a safe, honest space where plants and people can thrive together.

Plantlifedk’s mission
My mission is to share the joy of collecting and growing plants — but also to give back. That’s why I commit to donating 3% of Plantlifedk’s profits to local organizations that support socially vulnerable people. Because just like plants, people grow best with a little care and the right environment.
